This course contains two elements. The first surveys various laws that relate to pastors and churches in the United States. The second examines Biblical constructs and directives concerning conflict resolution and how the Lord uses conflict to accomplish His purposes.
This course explores some key aspects of pastoring a church, including praying, setting priorities, training other leaders, delegating, visiting, handling pressure, and more. It also offers guidance for dealing with important transitional events, such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
This class introduces students to leading the church's worship times and cultivating a culture of worship through pastoral leadership.
This course focuses on living according to God’s pattern for us. We study biblical commands and their wise application to various life situations. We expose demonic strategies of temptation and learn about spiritual warfare. We seek ways to express the Christ-life within us by the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
This class aims to help you “fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Tim 1:6) in order to proclaim the Word faithfully and effectively. Areas of emphasis include: (1) blending accurate biblical interpretation with contemporary relevance; (2) preaching as an overflow of personal holiness and spiritual depth; (3) sharpening communication skills; and (4) integrating weekly preaching at church with daily Bible reading at home.

This course looks at major events and key persons in the history of the Christian church. Such study helps us to see God's faithfulness in the past and to better understand the church's present challenges and opportunities.
This course deals with key issues in how to interpret the Bible. Students learn steps for studying a passage and practice using various study tools, including computer software, to become more skilled in understanding biblical passages and preparing sermons.
This course explores how to develop and use God-given leadership abilities. You will reflect on your leadership experience and the strengths you have as a leader, but also have your leadership enhanced by exposure to insights from a variety of leaders, many of them from the world of business and management.
This course considers the historical background, theme development, and theological contribution of the New Testaments books. This course is a survey of the biblical story in its progressive unfolding of the history of redemption in the first century. Emphasis is placed on the unity of Scripture as it reaches its fullness and fulfillment in Christ and as it unfolds the expanding of the mission of the church.
Whether married or not, this course gets at the spiritual principles of what make a powerful kingdom partnership as you become one spiritually, emotionally, and sexually. If you are married, it is required that your spouse participate with you in going through this course. It will also discuss pastoral care to marriages.
This course considers core Christian doctrines about Scripture, the church, and the last things. (Can be taken either before or after Systematic Theology I.)
This course deals with strategies concerning raising Godly children. Special attention will be placed on Biblical discipleship issues that parents face through out the raising of children. It will also discuss pastoral care to families.
An introduction to home discipleship and evangelism - FALL 2008 SEMESTER
This course considers core Christian doctrines about God, humanity, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and salvation. (Can be taken either before or after Systematic Theology II.)

An introduction to preaching and church leadership.
This course deals with your own personal walk, integrity, and habits. If you are a person of character and spritual growth, this will make a big difference in your ministry.
A survey course designed to introduce students to basic issues in apologetics (defending and contending for the faith). The course will emphasize Biblical Worldview and Cultural Apologeticcs, or the application of apologetics to contemporary cultural issues.
This course identifies and analyzes urgent cultural matters that must be addressed by the church and its leaders.
Church planting begins with the church planted in you own life, marriage, and family. This course looks at the intentional efforts necessary to plant reproducible and sustainable churches. This course will also help you come up with a “Bible culture,” home discipleship style church planting plan.
This course is the core orientation to the home discipleship thinking and practice.
A basic course on Systematic Theology
An Introduction to Preaching and Ministry Leadership
This course teaches students how to use Bible language tools to maximize biblical exegesis and sermon preparation. This course will also cover rudimentary Greek and Hebrew grammar for those with no previous original Biblical language study.

This course covers biblical dispute resolution. Some basic ethics discussion and how the law affects the operation of the Church. It will give future pastors a solid grasp of how to approach these issues in their churches.
This course covers some homediscipleship worship distinctives, a theology of the sacraments, and some practical instruction for weddings, funerals, communion, baptisms, and other special services. This course will also cover the doctrine of the Church and church government.
This course introduces students to selected writings of C.S. Lewis, discusses his works in the context of mid-twentieth century Britain, and explores Lewis’s relevance for today.
Greek New Testament Readings and Using Greek in Sermon Preparation
This course reads the Hebrew Bible and teaches students how to use Hebrew in sermon preparation.
This course will help students teach the truths of the Scripture through worship, youth ministry, and non-worship teaching opportunities.
This course presents a biblical and theological framework for Christian missions, explores missions throughout history, and highlights practical issues in contemporary missions.
