1. Diploma of Ministry
The Diploma of Ministry requires completion of 45 semester hours: 30 hours of core courses
and 15 hours of electives. Students should gain supervised ministry experience by
maintaining a relationship with a mentor for at least one year. Contact with the mentor
should occur at least monthly. Phone contact is acceptable, although face-to-face is
preferred.
2. Diploma of Divinity
The Diploma of Divinity requires 90 semester hours: 30 hours of core courses, 12 hours of
Greek and exegesis, and 48 hours of electives. Students seeking a Diploma of Divinity
should gain supervised ministry experience by maintaining a relationship with a mentor for at
least two years. Contact with the mentor should occur at least monthly. Phone contact is
acceptable, although face-to-face is preferred. For some students, we will recommend a
year-long fulltime internship under the direct supervision of mentor. An intense one-year
internship is equivalent to two years of mentorship and practical experience.
3. Diploma of Discipleship
Students may earn a 30 semester hour Diploma of Discipleship. Discipleship students
complete any 30 semester hours. Typically, students will tailor their hours to a specific
interest or goal. Students are encouraged but not required to initiate and maintain a
mentorship relationship with a person in ministry according to their ministry goals.
